Audience Fit and Notes

Safe Work Australia has provided clear direction that managers, supervisors, peer supporters, and health and safety representatives should be trained to identify and respond to mental health risks under the new Work Health and Safety legislation. MHFA is a leading, nationally recognised solution that helps organisations meet their duty of care, manage psychosocial hazards, and embed a culture of early intervention. It is the gold-standard choice for businesses serious about leadership capability, peer support, and WHS-aligned mental health response.

This 12-hour course caters to all learning styles and provides hands-on, scenario-based learning, ensuring participants gain practical experience in applying mental health first aid principles. Each participant receives the official MHFA manual to support their learning, along with a certificate and a three-year accreditation as a certified Mental Health First Aider, equipping them with the confidence and skills to provide immediate and effective support in real-world workplace situations.
