GROUP baby & child first aid workshops

Our Group Baby + Child First Aid Workshops are face-to-face public sessions designed for parents and caregivers who want hands-on skills in baby CPR, child CPR, choking first aid, burns first aid, fever care, hydration support, respiratory red flags, and when to seek urgent medical help. Workshops are available across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, the Central Coast and Hunter Valley.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

  • Baby, infant & child CPR

  • Choking first aid (babies + children)

  • Burns and common injuries

  • Fever management and hydration scenarios

  • Respiratory distress red flags

  • When and how to escalate + advocate for your child

PLEASE NOTE

Babes in arms are more than welcome at our Baby + Child First Aid workshops, particularly babies six months and under, as they’re usually less mobile and allow you to focus during the session. If your baby is older and you’d still like to bring them along, please feel free to reach out as we’re always happy to see what we can accommodate.

Please note that each workshop requires a minimum of two couples/families or four individual attendees to go ahead. If minimum numbers aren’t reached, you will be contacted and offered a rescheduled date. Late cancellation fees may apply. For full details on our cancellation policy, please contact us directly.

As a soon to be parent I wanted to learn how to identify sickness that requires medical attention while distinguishing between something less severe. The workshop addressed both of these aspects.
